I have to say that we had the most incredible meal from appetizers to dessert tonight!! We were pleasantly surprised as to how good this restaurant is! We will definitely go back and I will bring family and friends! You will not be disappointed at the Marshallton Inn! I wish I took pictures of my food. The presentation was great too.
Sarah W was our server and was so attentive. Her knowledge of the menu was incredible and she went above and beyond splitting up the bill!! Will come back again because of this wonderful experience and delicious food.
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, and incredible creations. Chef David Cox crafts dishes that are both beautiful and delicious. A true gem in Chester county.
We decided to have our Thanksgiving meal prepared by professionals this year, and we were not disappointed. So very good. Old world charm, excellent cuisine, and proper hospitality. The owner and wife, among others, greeted us to make us feel welcome. They truly take pride in what they do. We cannot wait to return!
Great restaurant with a nice intimate atmosphere. We had the French onion soup (phenomenal, well done French onion soup) with filet and 6 layer chocolate cake for dessert. Normally we aren't the dessert type but everything else was so good we had to give it a try. The beet salad had a good beet to salad ratio, not overly heavy on the beets but not short on them either. Very fresh. The historical aspect of the entire site is cool too, they have a kiosk in the parking lot with detailed information of the history of the building and area.
Thank you Jada, Alyssa and everyone at the Marshalton Inn. They turned our wedding dinner into an absolute dream! Amazing food, beautiful decor. We couldn’t have asked for a better night!
VERY impressed by this place! I was the photographer for a baby shower last month, and all of the staff members were super kind and caring to all of the ladies who attended the shower. The food was stunning AND delicious as well. A very quaint, vintage restaurant that hosted 40 women. I loved every moment of it!
Food was good, service was great. It was a great little historical place too. They basically put tables in the different rooms in the house. We happened to have the bigger table and the only table in what looked like the dining room. So it almost felt like we had a private room. It was interesting that they open only from 5 to 9 pm in the weekend.
